If your board still has ceramic fuses, start here
Half the houses in Hamilton, Mayfield and Islington still run on a 1960s board. They work until they don't, and when they don't there is no safety switch between you and the fault.
We replace the whole board with individual RCBOs on every circuit rather than one shared safety switch. It costs about $300 more and means a tripped bathroom circuit does not black out the fridge. Includes the Ausgrid notification and the compliance certificate.
How the bill works
- Call-out, business hours
- $180 and it includes the first hour on site. Then $45 per 15 minutes. Mon–Fri 7am–5pm.
- After hours and weekends
- $280 including the first hour, then $60 per 15 minutes. We tell you this on the phone before anyone leaves.
- Quoted jobs
- Boards, rewires, EV chargers and anything over half a day are a fixed written price. The price on the quote is the price on the invoice.
- Parts
- Charged at trade cost plus 15%, itemised. The van carries enough to finish most call-outs in one visit.
